Here are some lights inspired by Radient Orchid: Pantone’s Colour of the Year.

Yoko, designed by Anderssen & Voll

A delicate and abstract bubble, which moves through space, fills the environment with a Northern white light: this is the image that immediately springs to mind with YOKO, the new table lamp by Norwegian designers Anderssen & Voll. The base, which contains and conceals the light source, consists of two injection-moulded translucent opaline polycarbonate cups. The PMMA “bubble” at the top is achieved using an injection-blowing technique, this technique is very similar to glass blowing. Available in 3 colours, including the Radient Orchid-like violet pictured above.

Can Can, designed by Marcel Wanders

Centerpieces are a thing of the past: This scene-stealing, show-stopping pendant light doesn’t just illuminate your table, it stirs conversation. Glowing with a diffused light (via diffusers with transparent, yellow, or fuchsia finishes), its diffuser and body are made of injection-molded PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate). Known for mixing innovative materials and techniques with iconic archetypes, designer Marcel Wanders designs his work to contribute to “an environment of love.” With the Can Can, he shines a spotlight on the epicentre of adoration: the dining table, where friends and family gather together and make memories. Available in white, black, or radiant orchid.
