Account Executive - Edmonton

This full-time position will provide you with the opportunity to leverage your design and/or lighting background as you work with Edmonton’s design professionals, helping them light their residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. As a natural people-person, you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with interior designers, architects, electrical engineers, homebuilders, and homeowners, as you help them create lighting plans and source lighting to realize their vision for a space. Your goal will be to become their trusted lighting advisor.

Your average day will see you delivering memorable sales presentations, developing business by connecting with design professionals, and working with LightForm’s internal support staff to prepare estimates, negotiate quotes, and maintain client relationships to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction. Your keen eye for opportunity will transport you around the city and in contact with key decision makers.

Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a competitive sales environment
  • Experience in commercial and decorative lighting industry with an emphasis on sales directly to the architecture and design community
  • Ability to read design and lighting drawings
  • Impeccable communication and time management skills
  • Ability to deliver strong company and product presentations
  • Must be a self-starter, capable of working in a fast paced environment with a high degree of independence
  • Must be prepared to be outside of the office on sales calls 90% of the time

Customer Service Representative - Edmonton

General Summary

The LightForm Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing new and existing customer service issues and communicating with clients and suppliers to ensure cases are closed with a high degree of client satisfaction while mitigating losses to LightForm.

The Customer Service Representative will complete the following functions for LightForm customers:

  • Listen to client concerns
  • Troubleshoot potential issues with products on delivered orders
  • Handle escalations related to orders during and after delivery
  • Communicate with vendors, sales representatives, and customers to determine cost-effective solutions acceptable to all stakeholders
  • Manage the implementation of customer service solutions and ensure accurate and detailed record-keeping
  • Assist the Accounting and Purchasing Departments in the creation and management of back-end documentation

In order to be successful in delivering on the core functions of the role, the Customer Service Representative must:

  • Be able to use back-end inventory management systems
  • Manage stakeholder expectations
  • Communicate and collaborate with the sales force and operations teams
  • Be able to work with and assess complex data
  • Be able to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Create, monitor, update, and close cases
  • Create RGAs
  • Meet targets related to case and RGA accuracy
  • Meet targets related to client satisfaction
  • Assist Project Coordinators when workload permits

Our ideal candidate possesses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Two years minimum of experience in organization focused role e.g. customer service or office administration
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Practical work experience and an ability to demonstrate a high level of lighting and lighting industry knowledge is an advantage
  • Aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers
  • Results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to assess and work with complex data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Sales & Administrative Assistant - Toronto

You’ll thrive in the fast-paced and tight-deadline environment, collaborating with and supporting our sales people and communicating in a timely and professional manner with clients about their orders.

A natural jack-of-all-trades, you’ll lend your support where needed throughout each step of the sales process: from verifying the accuracy of quotes to processing payments, from setting up new client profiles, to checking product availability. Showroom Sales - Toronto

As our Showroom Sales person, you’ll leverage your naturally outgoing personality and keen eye for design to welcome visitors to our art gallery-like showroom and help them find the right light for their space. Our ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional who knows how to engage showroom visitors by presenting themselves as a trustworthy advisor, and how to follow up promptly with pricing and other specifications. You must be highly capable of multi-tasking and should take pride in offering impeccable customer service.

Your average day will bring you in contact with like-minded design enthusiasts and you will be communicating regularly with customers by phone, email, and in-person. You will take ownership of the showroom like it’s your own home, treating visitors like guests and colleagues like family.
