LightForm Vancouver has an opening for a full-time Project Coordinator for its office and showroom. The person in this position will work closely with our account executives to prepare, manage, and coordinate projects and client accounts on a daily basis. This opportunity is ideal if you are extremely organized, have a keen eye for details, and take pride in your work. Qualifications:

  • A degree or certificate/diploma in project management
  • Two years of experience as a project coordinator/manager
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Showroom Sales - Toronto

LightForm Toronto has an opening for a full-time Showroom Sales position. We are looking for an individual with retail experience and a background in design and/or lighting. This opportunity is ideal if you have a strong passion for design and pride yourself on your ability to build relationships. You must be extremely organized, have a keen eye for details, and take pride in your work.

You will be working the showroom floor for Flos, the iconic lighting manufacturer whose showroom is situated within the LightForm showroom. In addition you will also be working the floor of our newly built LightForm showroom, educating all walk-in clients about the products and the history of each of our brands.

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Two years retail or showroom sales experience
  • Design background in either education or employment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working on web based ERP systems with a high level of computer literacy
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work well with a variety of different personalities
  • Professional demeanor and presentation
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently on an individual basis

Primary Responsibilities:

General Manager - Toronto

LightForm Toronto is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to join a passionate team of individuals. Our ideal candidate will understand sales from a retail and from a project/contract perspective, and will know how to leverage a beautiful showroom through events, industry parties, and local sponsorships.

As part of the Management team you will be responsible for developing growth, strengthening our organization’s competitive position, monitoring financial performance and managing staff. You must lead and champion change. Your staff will look to you for inspiration and will need you to challenge them to meet their full potential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills. They will possess enthusiasm, energy, influence, initiative, drive and business acumen.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in a senior sales or general management position
  • A degree in Business (or related discipline)
  • Experience with account management
  • Strong negotiation and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge and proficiency with CRM systems with experience using a Cloud ERP preferred
  • Experience in strategic sales planning and revenue forecasting
