Our Toronto showroom is now officially open! With the curatorial hand of visual merchandiser and creative consultant, Jentry Chin, our showroom artfully embraces the industrial character of the building we occupy.
Situated in the old Engelite factory, we sought to repurpose and re-inhabit this historic space – significant to the lighting manufacturing industry of Toronto, and to Canada’s manufacturing history as a whole. We knew that staying true to, and embracing, the unfinished and raw aesthetic of the warehouse would fit with the way we feel lighting should be shown.
The Engelite Factory before LightForm
As a departure from the conventional showroom, we designed each section as a small vignette – it tells of the subtle progression and philosophical practice of each brand, but as a whole, the showroom brings together a collection of manufacturers that challenge our notions of what lighting can be.
While other showrooms focus on incorporating lighting in to existing interior spaces, we know that lighting is no complement to space – it defines space. Therefore, it should be the focus of any installation and it is the focus of ours.

The showroom is fully equipped to provide architects, designers and their clients the space and the resources to review their plans and pick the best lighting for their projects – all within a space that we designed to be as open, inspiring and accessible as possible.
